About Us
In 2020, our founder Oliver Evans set out with a simple yet impactful vision – connect students with experienced tutors from the UK’s leading universities. Motivated by his experience teaching undergraduate supervisions during his PhD, Oliver understood the importance of a personal connection in generating a meaningful and interactive learning environment.
Four years later, the BridgeTutors team now includes over 50 tutors, each of whom is currently studying at or has graduated from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Our tutoring sessions are inspired by the famous Oxbridge tutorial system which utilises active discussion and problem-solving to critically engage students with their subject. This allows our tutors to form a strong personal relationship with each individual student and tailor their teaching accordingly.
As BridgeTutors continues to grow, our goal remains to prove a supportive and inspiring environment where students of all ages and backgrounds can develop a love for learning and achieve their academic goals.
