Our Lessons
At BridgeTutors, our approach to teaching STEM subjects centres on teaching students to solve problems. During lessons, our tutors guide students through past paper questions, building their confidence as they apply their knowledge to real-life situations.
All new students will receive a free graphics tablet when they start with us.
For tuition of arts and humanities subjects, our sessions are far more fluid. Discussion-led, sessions are designed to encourage students to challenge themselves and think beyond mark-schemes and examinations and to explore new ideas. Our tutors also offer sessions focusing on essay techniques in a range of subjects, and for projects of varying lengths. We strive to provide sessions that not only resolve any issues that students may have, but to also help them push the boundaries of their subjects.
What we offer
National Curriculum
We offer support for 11+, 13+, GCSE, and A Level in a wide range of subjects from all major exam boards. All our tutors have at least the relevant undergraduate degree.
University admissions
At BridgeTutors, our tutors are highly experienced in supporting students in their applications to Oxford, Cambridge, and other leading UK universities. We also have specialist tutors to support applications to medical and veterinary science courses.
School Entrance exams
Our tutors also provide support for students undertaking entrance exams to both grammar and independent schools across the UK. This includes preparation for the 11+, 13+, and scholarship examinations.
Online courses
For a one-time payment, we also offer a series of online courses and videos designed to help students prepare for university admissions tests, support for sixth form science competitions, and universities’ admissions tests for medical courses.
