About Mia
Hi, my name is Mia and I’m a Masters student at New College, Oxford. I study eighteenth-century literature, specialising in William Blake. I did my undergraduate degree at New College, too, and studied English for A-level along with History and French.
I have tutored regularly over the last four years, from 11+ to A-level, and I have experience teaching both English language and literature. I am also interested in helping students with their Oxbridge applications and interview prep. My aim is to encourage my students to know their texts and their exams inside and out, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. I really enjoy teaching set texts, and hope that my students will enjoy the experience too!

Hi, I’m Davey and I’m a third year reading Natural Science at St Catharines College, Cambridge. I am specialising in Earth Sciences but have been studied multiple sciences throughout my degree. I am very passionate about my subject and love learning, which is something I want to encourage in others.
I enjoy using my knowledge and experience gained in biology, chemistry and maths to show how fun and rewarding education can be.
I also have experience helping with Oxbridge admissions, which has highlighted the importance of communication during learning.

Hello, my name is Lauren. I am a second year Natural Sciences Student at St.Catharine's College, Cambridge. I have 4 years of tutoring experience ranging from Year 10/11 GCSE students to A-level students in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I also have experience with Oxbridge university applications.
I enjoy helping a student see their full potential and breakdown misconceptions of who can achieve top grades. I hope to impart not just factual knowledge, but the joy of learning. I firmly believe in using spaced repetition, active recall and past papers to achieve a student's best.

Hi, I’m Jamie and I have just graduated from Trinity College, Oxford. I studied Law for three years after studying Chemistry, History and Economics at Sixth-Form.
As such, I have experience studying both essay-based and scientific studies up to A-level, and offer tutoring in both History and Chemistry. I am also happy to provide Oxbridge admissions tutoring for the LNAT admissions test, as well as personal statement reviews

Hi! I’m Sasha and in my fourth and final year studying Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge.
What I love about languages is not simply language-learning, but the literatures, histories and cultures that we can access by learning any particular language. Through studying French, Spanish and Portuguese, I am very familiar with the process of learning a foreign language, from grammar queries, to practical ways you can memorise vocab outside of lessons.
Aside from the technical,linguistic side of languages, my degree allows me to study the cultures, histories, and literatures of French-, Spanish-, and Portuguese-speaking countries, meaning I am well-versed in both history- and literature-style essay writing, as well as thinking about engaging critical ideas when reading texts.
I have tutored students up to age 16 in foreign languages, taught English to Spanish children, and have lots of experience in Oxbridge admissions for a variety of subjects. I look forward to working with you!

I’m Noah, I have just graduated from an Economics and Management degree at Balliol College, Oxford. I did Economics, Maths, Physics and History at A-level, and am able to tutor in all of those subjects up to A-level. I can also help with TSA preparation, and came in the top 1% of my cohort when I did the TSA exam.
I have a strong grasp of concepts and problem-solving, and use this to simplify complicated ideas into more manageable segments, which are then tested using targeted examples. Studying the mark scheme is also an important exam-preparation task that I focus on.

Hi, I’m George and I graduated in July from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. I studied Economics with a mix of essay-based modules and Maths/Statistics modules across the three years.
I have A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and History and have experience tutoring these at the GCSE and A-level standard. I have also assisted with personal statement writing and interview preparation for university applications.
I hope to share my passion for my subject with a tutoring style that centres on answering exam questions and understanding conceptually difficult ideas from first principles.

Hi, my name is Martha and I’m a fourth year student, studying Veterinary Medicine at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. I am very passionate about my subject, and this is underpinned by a deep fascination for science, particularly biology and chemistry. I am also an enthusiastic person who loves meeting and getting to know new people.
I tutor biology, chemistry, maths and Spanish up to A level, with many years of experience in these subjects. I would be delighted to cater to any age or level.
I have past experience tutoring chemistry and maths. I have also worked at various summer courses as a UCAS tutor for students applying to the Veterinary Medicine course, and would be very happy to share my experience and advice for this unique and difficult application process.

Hi! My name is Jonny, and I am a third year Engineering student at the University of Cambridge. I spent my first two years studying a wide range of engineering disciplines, before specializing in a combination of information/software and mechanical engineering.
I have experience preparing students for Engineering/Physics Oxbridge admissions and interviews, and am passionate about tutoring students at both GCSE and A-level. I believe it is crucial to form a deep understanding of core concepts, which complex problem-solving methods can then be built on.
My teaching style is more of a conversation than a lecture, and I aim to challenge and support my students to get to the answer independently, with guidance from me rather than being told the answer. I believe this is not only a great method for success in exams, but also personal, engaging and fun!

Hello! I'm Suzi and I'm in my third and final year studying Geography at St Catharine's College Cambridge. During the first two years of my degree, I studied a combination of human and physical geography, and am now specialising in human geography. I have experience running homework clubs for children as young as 7, to running mock interviews for those in year 13. I love sharing my passion for geography and the humanities, alongside helping students decipher mark schemes and achieve success in exams.

Hi, I'm Faith! I graduated from Cambridge last year with a high first in History and French and am now studying for my law conversion in London. As one of the first students to complete this dual honours degree at Cambridge, I was able to combine my passion for French literature and grammar with my enthusiasm for 19th and 20th-century history. As well as studying and working in France for two years, I have also taught myself Italian, Spanish and (a little bit of!) Arabic. In terms of tutoring experience, I have been working over the last few months for a tutoring agency in Hong Kong, remotely teaching students in London, Canada and Singapore.
I have experience teaching History (GCSE, IB, A-level), French (GCSE, IB, A-level, conversational), English literature and language (GCSE, IB, A-level), as well as general essay subjects. I also have been successful in both the Oxford HAT and Cambridge HAA and can offer broader guidance on the Oxbridge Admissions process (personal statements, practice interviews and wider reading). I hope to use this experience to motivate and enthuse my students about languages and history!
