About Chiara
Hi, my name is Chiara and I am third-year Biology student and academic scholar at New College, Oxford. I tutor Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French; all subjects which I took at A-Level and have over 3 years of experience in teaching, catering to a range of different ages and abilities. In the past, I have also taught GCSE and helped with University applications and Oxbridge interview preparation.
I am truly passionate about my degree and enjoy sharing my knowledge and discussing Biology more than anything. I always try and get my students to understand why things are the way they are, rather than just learn to recite facts, and find that encouraging this curiosity about the world is what makes a great biology student! My years of tutoring experience have also given me an excellent knowledge of exam technique and an understanding of what exactly examiners are looking for in answers.
