About Maria
Hi, I am Maria, a 4th year medical student at Magdalene College, Cambridge. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years, helping students with GCSE and A-level sciences as well as focussing on Medicine applications, whether at Oxbridge or other chosen universities. I am experienced in tutoring for admissions tests (both BMAT and UCAT) as well as guiding students through interview preparation and personal statement writing.
Having been through the same process myself a few years back, I know how much it takes to achieve what you set out for yourself. Tutoring for me is an opportunity to give students the help they need to fulfil their potential and perform well under pressure. I would be delighted to go on this journey with you!

About Chiara
Hi, my name is Chiara and I am third-year Biology student and academic scholar at New College, Oxford. I tutor Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French; all subjects which I took at A-Level and have over 3 years of experience in teaching, catering to a range of different ages and abilities. In the past, I have also taught GCSE and helped with University applications and Oxbridge interview preparation.
I am truly passionate about my degree and enjoy sharing my knowledge and discussing Biology more than anything. I always try and get my students to understand why things are the way they are, rather than just learn to recite facts, and find that encouraging this curiosity about the world is what makes a great biology student! My years of tutoring experience have also given me an excellent knowledge of exam technique and an understanding of what exactly examiners are looking for in answers.

Milo
About Milo
Hello, my name is Milo. I am undertaking a Masters in Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge, having just achieved a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences. I have a high proficiency in Physics and Maths and am an experienced teacher. I also offer tutoring in Chemistry, for which I was awarded the Salters Advanced Chemistry Award for my outstanding A level performance.
My approach to teaching conceptual misunderstandings is that any idea can be understood by anyone, as long as it is deconstructed into small enough steps and that the student is walked through each step at the correct pace.
For exams, I believe that active recall (recalling and using information from memory alone) and studying mark schemes are the best way to revise.

About Ollie
My name is Ollie, and I am currently studying Chemistry at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. I have just finished the final year of my integrated Master's in Chemistry and will be continuing at Cambridge for my PhD in Computational Supramolecular Organic Chemistry. I have worked as a part-time tutor for seven years, teaching science and maths to a range of ages and abilities, from 11+ through to A-level. I have also mentored numerous students during the Oxbridge admissions process, with 100% of my students receiving offers for their desired courses from either Oxford or Cambridge. I created BridgeTutors during my undergraduate degree, as I wanted to set up a tutoring service that linked school students to current undergraduates or recent undergraduates as this provides the most fruitful lessons properly. Above all, I aim with BridgeTutors and my sessions to help my students find their voice and truly fly.
